Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Basket25 at basket25.vercel.app (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Basket25 is a student project built and operated by an individual developer. The Site is provided for personal, non-commercial use unless we expressly allow otherwise in writing.

No professional advice

Scores, standings, schedules, and other information on the Site are for general information only. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Nothing on the Site is betting, financial, or professional advice.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site or any feature at any time without notice. We may update these Terms; the new effective date will be shown at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site—for example, by attempting to disrupt the service, scrape it in a way that harms performance, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, or use it in violation of applicable law. Automated access may be limited or blocked to protect the service.

Third parties

The Site may rely on third-party data providers, news links, and infrastructure (including hosting and analytics). Your use of those third parties may be subject to their terms and policies.

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR OF BASKET25 WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SITE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (TYPICALLY ZERO, SINCE THE SITE IS FREE) OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50), UNLESS APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from claims or losses arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protections require otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
